Brian is a native of Platteville, Wisconsin. Growing up in Southwest Wisconsin he saw many aspects of farming by helping his relatives with their dairy and beef operations. Brian eventually married a dairy farmer’s daughter. In 1996, he joined efutures / First Capitol Ag (Now Kluis Commodity Advisors), where his knowledge and background in the financial markets has been a great asset for risk management. Brian makes use of option strategies for risk management on hedge and speculative trades.

He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a degree in Business Administration and an emphasis in Finance and Marketing. After graduation, Brian earned his General Securities license and began a career with Edward Jones helping local individuals with their wealth management. Brian enjoys spending time with his family and occasionally finds time to get outdoors to hunt and fish.
